Why I Switched From Teachable To Kajabi (And Why You Might Want To Also!)

I want to first start off by saying that Teachable is a great starter platform. It was easy enough to use and the knowledge base is great for beginner course creators, BUT, if you want to take things a step further in your online business, Kajabi just might be the switch you need to make, so learn more here.

I've been using Kajabi for six months now and I am continually impressed by the platform and all of it's capabilities. Not to mention, the staff at Kajabi are always working to make improvements! 

So, read on to hear why I switched from Kajabi to Teachable and some insightful reasons you may want to also.

Why I Switched From Teachable To Kajabi

1. It's an all inclusive platform.

This is primarily the main reason why I decided to take the leap and invest in Kajabi.

Prior to joining Kajabi, I had a website management platform, email marketing software, and course management system, Teachable.

My brain was stuffed full with passwords and in an effort to manage my website, email marketing, courses, and students, I had to hop around between three different websites. Talk about time consuming!

Kajabi is all inclusive in that your students and members can log in to your platform directly through your unique URL. This keeps it simple in that you don't need multiple URLs to buy or to keep track of especially if you are someone like me, who doesn't love dealing with DNS servers, third party hosting platforms, and all that.

I can also send out all of my email broadcasts, automations, and sequences directly from the Kajabi dashboard along with complete analytics on how my email marketing is doing.

Last, but not least, I build out a personalized website allowing potential customers and students to view all of my services, products, and to be able to contact me.

It's seriously the best thing ever just to be able to log in and manage every almost every aspect of my business (minus the full Customer Relationship Management of sending invoices, contracts, etc, which I have a feeling is coming along soon!).

2. The templates are built out for you.

I am all about efficiency and saving time in my business.

I was blown away how Kajabi gives you multiple types of landing and pipeline pages to build out. It's as easy as 1-2-3. 

They give you the templates and suggestions on automations, number of marketing emails to send, sales pages to include, and the like.

When I was working with Teachable, I had to sit bit by bit and figure out how to build a landing page for my Social Media Strategy Made Easy course (and even do research on other course creators on how they effectively built a successful, converting landing page!).  

Let me tell you, as a novice online business owner at the time, it took me hours and hours to build out the sales / landing page for that course. 

Hours and time I could've spent on doing other things related to promoting a successful course.

In the long run, when I signed up with Kajabi, I was a bit giddy to find that they do the work for you; all you have to do is input your branding, copy, and build out the links. 

All in all, you get high-converting landing pages that can be specified to your needs and look extremely professional.

3. It's scalable. 

Yes, Teachable allows you to grow a huge student base, but Kajabi is scalable in so many other ways, too. Plus, they are constantly working to improve the consumer and customer experience as it keeps getting better and better.

Whether or not you are a course creator, you can build out a membership site, other digital products, webinars to grow your email list, manage email marketing, and more.

All of that within one platform and as you grow, you can continue to grow with one platform for years to come as an online business.

The pricepoint does increase, but consider the investment you make with multiple products, a huge email list, website management, and more, the price of Kajabi will seem like a drop in the bucket! 

4. The features are endless.

Like I said before, I've been using the platform for a little more than six months now and I still feel like there are tons and tons of features I haven't even tapped into yet (like extensive automations for product sales!). 

You can honestly write your marketing emails, email automations, build pipelines, create products / courses, manage a membership site, connect with your customers / clients, create coupons and offers, get instantaneous Kajabi chat support, and a heck of a lot more.

Like I mentioned before, Kajabi is always working to improve the consumer experience and values feedback from it's course creators in an effort to help you build a better business online.
